April is the by far the most eagerly awaited time of the year for those of us who relish being outdoors! Welcome to spring in Southeastern PA, arguably the prettiest time of the year in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Typically, in April we see plenty of warm sunny days, just enough rain for all of nature to explode with green growth and spring blooms, and daylight continues to lengthen giving us more time in the day to get to our spring chores in or just enjoy being outside! We hope all of you are as high on spring as we are.
April is the month when lawns and landscaped areas alike need to be tended to thoroughly as they come to life. Lawn Depot is ready to provide you lawn and gardening supplies, colorful annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees to beautify your yards and landscapes, along with all of the friendly advice you’ll need to accomplish exactly what you seek with lawns and landscaped areas. We’ve been assisting you, our loyal customers for over 50 years now; we’ve continually offered the best professional-grade lawn and gardening products, the healthiest and most colorful annual and perennial plants from our Nursery Yard; and we’ve got the best friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to offer suggestions and solutions.
Lawn Depot Turf Management has been on the road since the end of February, making our rounds with our first application: early spring fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass control, and cool season broadleaf weed control. We’ll continue with the first regular application through the end of April, along with our spring core aeration jobs. If you received an estimate for lawn service and haven’t yet responded, rest assured that you still have time to get on board for the full year’s program. But please hurry, we’re scheduling work now, and wouldn’t want you to miss out on the first application. One of our turf professionals will be out to your property as quickly as possible, measure and evaluate the lawn, and will email you a proposal. The Garden Center is open EVERY day to serve you! Monday through Friday 8-6, Saturday 8-5, and Sunday 9-3. Keep an eye out for lots of great sales promotions throughout spring, as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary! We’ve got everything you need to beautify your lawns and gardens. As the overnight temperatures moderate, we’ll bring perennials, shrubs and trees out of the hoop houses. We’re working fervently on planting perennial plugs in order to offer you all a terrific selection! The Nursery yard now has pansies and cold crop vegetables ready for your perusal, with more cooler season annual selections on the way around the third week of April. New Nursery stock will start arriving the week of April 22nd. Prepare to be wowed by our extensive selection of ornamental and native shrubs and trees! Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are ready to help you select the plants that will be perfect for your wants and needs.
