Celebrating 50 Years of serving our customers!

We are so very excited to share with you that we are celebrating our 50th anniversary!  To those of you who who’ve shopped with us or utilize our Turf Management services, you may already know about our deep roots in the Bucks and Montgomery County area.  If you’re newer to Lawn Depot, and don’t know our history, we’d like to share our story with you.

Our humble beginnings started next to the Doylestown Borough, Pennsylvania train station in March 1974 in an old book bindery building. We were the first lawn care specialty store in Central Bucks County offering products and advice tailored to Bucks and Montgomery County lawns and gardens. In 1982 our Turf Management division was launched, as well as our move to our current location on Edison-Furlong Road in Doylestown Township.

Today, our second-generation family run Lawn and Garden Center and Turf Management division continue to guide and provide thousands of homeowners with the highest quality products and services.  We take pride in providing every customer that walks through our doors with quality advice and great product lines, as we have for the past 50 growing seasons.  We are truly grateful to our loyal customers who have put their trust in us and helped grow our reputation and make us a destination for anyone desiring the very best lawn and garden products in and around the Bucks and Montgomery County communities.

The Lawn Depot staff, both those working in the Lawn and Garden Center and those in the Turf Management division, have been busy all winter, stocking new products and getting ready for the spring season, and servicing the equipment for a busy spring in Turf Management.  The Garden Center begins its full spring schedule beginning Monday, March 11th: open every day – Monday through Friday 8-6, Saturday 8-5, and Sunday 9-3.  We’ve stocked the garden center with all the products you need to make your lawns and gardens beautiful, and perennials are being potted up now in preparation of offering you all an amazing selection in the coming months.

Lawn Depot’s Turf Management team have been at it for a couple of weeks now with our early spring application.  First applications for our Turf Management group involves early spring fertilization and pre-emergent crabgrass/Japanese stiltgrass control products, as well as cool season broadleaf weed control for those on our Recommended Program.  We are proud to offer the best products and use the most advanced application equipment available in the industry, and because we have a very long-standing staff of friendly and talented technicians, we can feel confident that every customer receives the highest quality service every time we visit your property.  If you haven’t confirmed or activated your services for the year, do so as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out on the very important early spring treatment.  Or if you’re interested in either full-season lawn service or just a single application or two (core aeration, liming, seeding, complete lawn renovation), we invite you to contact us, by phone (215-348-5553), on our web site (www.lawndepotinc.com and select Request an Estimate), or by stopping in at the Lawn and Garden Center and discussing your situation with one of our staff.  If an estimate is requested, we’ll be out to evaluate and measure your lawn (or any part thereof) within a couple of days, and will email (or mail if you don’t use email) an estimate with the specific costs of the work requested.

The 2024 season is upon us as we celebrate 50 years serving the Bucks and Montgomery County area!  We’re excited to share this amazing milestone with everyone!  And, as always, we’re happy to advise those of you who might need it, while offering you the best quality lawn and gardening products and services available anywhere.  We’ve been doing this for a long time, and we are as excited for the coming growing season as we were way back in 1974!  As with every late winter – early spring, we’re all looking forward to seeing you, our faithful customers, again as we enter our 51st spring season
