Come on spring! We’re so ready to move on from the cold and snowpack that has been our world since mid-January. We saw the ground for all of about 48 hours before the latest snowstorm. Temperatures are heading in the right direction now to usher in spring. The positive side of this winter is that we’ve had a good amount of moisture, which sets the stage for a great start to the growing season!
Lawn Depot’s Lawn and Garden Center team has been busy all winter readying the store and nursery for the 2026 season. When you visit, you’re sure to notice new products and our friendly, knowledgeable team can’t wait to be of service to you. We’ve also added helpful content to our website and more products to our online store. Keep your eye out for the great sales and events we are planning! The Garden Center begins its full spring schedule on Monday, March 9th: open every day – Monday through Friday 8-6, Saturday 8-5, and Sunday 9-3. We’ve got everything you need to make your lawns and gardens beautiful, including new perennials we’re growing on-site, which enables us to have an incredible selection for you all in the coming months.
For the first time since the 2021 season, Lawn Depot’s Turf Management team has been delayed with the start of our early spring application. Fortunately, we are fully staffed and back on the road! First applications for our Turf Management group involves early spring fertilization, pre-emergent crabgrass and Japanese stiltgrass control products, as well as cool season broadleaf weed control for those on our Recommended Program. We are proud to offer high quality service using the best products, delivered by a friendly staff of turf professionals! If you haven’t confirmed or activated your services for the year, contact our office today to ensure you don’t miss out on the very important early spring treatment. Or if you’re interested in either full-season lawn service or just a single application or two (core aeration, liming, seeding, complete lawn renovation), we invite you to contact us, by phone (215-348-5553), or on our web site (www.lawndepotinc.com and select Request an Estimate. We’ll get right out to evaluate and measure your lawn (or any part thereof), and will email (or mail if you prefer) an estimate with the specific costs of the work requested.
Spring brings the hope of new life and growth. Very soon we’ll see the greening of lawns and marvel at the beauty of spring bulbs in their glory. Flowering trees and early flowering perennials won’t be far behind and if you start your vegetables from seed be sure you have all of your supplies and seed to get growing. As always, we encourage you to stop in and see what’s new in the store and nursery, to troubleshoot any issues with your lawns and gardens with us, or just to chat. So, come on in. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.
